Verified ReviewerFatty bacon
I definitely agree with a lot of consumers that the bacon is mostly fat. This is why I have resorted to the microwaveable bacon and not the Oscar Mayer brand!
- Fatty foods
Preferred solution: Not looking to get anything.

Verified Reviewer80% fat!
- - Oscar Mayer bacon is described as paper-thin and mostly fat.
- - Accuses Kraft Foods of prioritizing shareholders and squeezing consumers.
Kraft Foods owns [PERSON_NAME] [PERSON_NAME]. They steal from us by slicing a paper-thin part of the meat, showing this through the plastic clear package; however, upon opening, it's all fat! Kraft Foods is more concerned about their private equity shareholders and steals from consumers so they can squeeze every cent from the American citizens who have made them wealthy, now greedy, selling us fat and a paper-thin sliver of bacon!
- No pros
- All fat
User's recommendation: Oscar Mayer Kraft Food sells FAT no MEAT!

Verified Reviewer |Hi, big fan of the turkey bacon...today...
Hi, big fan of the turkey bacon. Today, I opened a pack and found a piece of plastic in each piece of the bacon—6 pcs.
About 1 cm from the edges. I didn’t check the whole pack.
Concerned. Be careful; it's small, straw-like/fingernail tip-sized.
- Nice packaging
- Great taste
- No added junk
- Plastic in food found once time glad i caught it but smaller pieces could be inside
Preferred solution: Full refund

Verified Reviewer- - Seal defect allowed air exposure and vacuum loss.
- - Discoloration and mold-like growth; product appears spoiled.
- - Support has not responded.
I purchased a package of *** fully cooked bacon that was within the printed use-by date. Upon opening, I discovered a manufacturing defect in the packaging, where a section of the seal appears unsealed or missing adhesive/crimp, allowing air exposure.
The entire contents of the package show uniform abnormal brown and gray discoloration, inconsistent with normal fully cooked bacon.
In addition, there is localized *** growth visible on the meat, consistent with mold or microbial growth, which is clearly visible in the attached photos.
This strongly indicates loss of vacuum seal integrity and spoilage, and the product was not safe to consume.
I contacted *** customer support over one week ago regarding this food safety issue and received no response, despite offering photos and product details. I have clear photographic evidence of the seal defect, full-package discoloration, and mold-like growth, along with the lot code and use-by date.
Preferred solution: Full refund

Verified Reviewer |Mostly fat bacon!
Oscar Mayer went downhill on bacon quality. The edges are really thick, rye stuff that can't be eaten either.
I've noticed a few other brands with the same issues. They seem to be getting better, but not quick enough.
Preferred solution: Apology

Verified ReviewerHave bought this bacon
I agree with the fat no meat... it's allot of bacon companies doing that but these are terrible...
really ruins a Sunday morning breakfast with the family. At these prices you would think these companies would do better
- Some products are good
- Will rip you off if they can get away with it
Preferred solution: Price reduction
User's recommendation: Look closer at the product and make sure it has meat on it
Too much fat
This is normal for just about any bacon now days, but the way they cut it to hide the fat behind slots on the packaging just burns me up. It is fraud and is not right.
User's recommendation: Don't buy it.
Because I purchased Center cut bacon, and it was not Center cut bacon
- - I am satisfied with the results of the call.
- - This time the bacon was not Center cut.
- - I bought four packages and only noticed after opening.
I am satisfied with the results of the call. I buy the *** Center Cut bacon all the time and I've noticed this time that it was not Center Cut and I bought four packages. And I only noticed when I opened them up.

Verified Reviewer |Center Cut Bacon
Purchased center cut bacon, which I consider a good product; however, it seems quality is no longer up to standards. It has a lot of fat to it, and pieces are so thin it stretches the meat even thinner.
Could not load the photos to show my complaint.
- Too much fat and very thin
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Do not purchase as you are not getting what you paid for.

Verified Reviewer |My kids don't like regular hot dogs but I introduced them to smokies(hotdogs sized) since I loved them as a kid. They ate smokies for years until last 2 times I bought them. They say it's a hotdog.
Add the flavoring that is now missing. Why wasn't it mentioned on the package?
All pork doesn't change how smoky the flavor is. I'm disappointed in a brand that has been around for my whole life.
- Waste your hard earned money
Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Don't buy the smokies anymore!!
More fat than bacon
Same thing happened to me. I have more fat than meat.
80 percent meat and 20 percent fat. This way the customer feels satified
User's recommendation: Tell the company to cut back on the fat

Thank you. I did not know they had an expiration date, so I did not use them all to purchase the product that I had replaced.
If it was possible, could I please get new coupons? I would really appreciate that.

Why can't I find P3 chicken and cashew snacks?
You guys hung up on me before you answered my question. All I'm trying to find out is why I can't ever find the Oscar Mayer Chicken P3 with cashew protein snacks anymore
There is no way to get crisp bacon without using a great deal of paper towels and putting it in the microwave for 10 seconds at a time and then blotting it each time with fresh paper towels.
- - Thick bacon is not crisp and hard to bite.
- - It uses more paper towels and adds hassle.
- - The bacon tends to slip out of the sandwich.
I have no idea. I am not part of the bacon business.
I just know that I wont buy that thick bacon anymore! Its not worth all of the hassle and the cost of all of the paper towels I have to use. Even after all of that, the bacon never gets really crisp plus its hard to bite when it is on a BLT.
When I take a small bite, the entire piece of bacon comes out of the sandwich! Ugh!!!
User's recommendation: Go to a Waffle House where they can fry up crispy bacon with ease and just enjoy it without the hassle!
